Effective Date: 25 August 2026
1. INTRODUCTION
This Shipping Policy (“Policy“) sets out the shipping regions, shipping charges, shipping methods and general shipping conditions applicable to products purchased from Williams Alicey Group (“WAG”, “we”, “us” or “our”), its applicable subsidiaries, divisions and operating businesses.
Specific WAG businesses may publish additional shipping terms, rates or exclusions applicable to their products.
Where a product-specific or business-specific shipping policy applies, that policy will take precedence to the extent of any inconsistency.

Certain remote areas may not be serviced by standard courier services.
3. STANDARD SHIPPING RATES
WAG uses a rate structure based primarily on destination, parcel size, weight and delivery requirements.
The following standard rates apply unless a different rate is displayed at checkout or communicated to the customer:

|---|---|
| Zone 1 — Johannesburg / Local | From R99 |
| Zone 2 — Gauteng | From R119 |

The rates above are starting rates and may vary according to the actual shipment.
The applicable shipping charge will be displayed or confirmed before the order is completed where technically practicable.
4. FREE SHIPPING
WAG may offer free standard shipping on qualifying orders.
Unless otherwise stated, the following minimum order values may apply:
| Region | Free Shipping Threshold |
|---|---|
| Johannesburg / Local | Orders over R1,000 |
| Gauteng | Orders over R1,500 |
| Major Metros | Orders over R2,000 |
| Regional Areas | Orders over R2,500 |
| Remote Areas | Subject to quotation |
Free shipping promotions may be subject to:
- Product exclusions;
- Geographic exclusions;
- Weight restrictions;
- Promotional periods;
- Minimum order values; and
- Other conditions communicated at the time of the promotion.
Free shipping does not automatically apply to oversized, hazardous, unusually heavy or specialised products.
5. HOW SHIPPING COSTS ARE CALCULATED
The final shipping charge may depend on:
- Delivery destination;
- Parcel weight;
- Parcel dimensions;
- Number of parcels;
- Product type;
- Product value;
- Delivery speed;
- Special handling requirements;
- Courier availability; and
- Remote-area surcharges.
For large or heavy products, shipping may be calculated according to volumetric weight rather than actual weight.
Where the shipping cost cannot be automatically calculated, WAG may provide a shipping quotation before processing the order.
6. OVERSIZED, HEAVY AND BULK PRODUCTS
Certain products cannot be shipped using standard parcel courier services.
This may include:
- Building materials;
- Large tools or equipment;
- Machinery;
- Palletised products;
- Long-length products;
- Heavy products;
- Bulk quantities; and
- Products requiring specialised transport.
These orders may require:
- Dedicated transport;
- A flatbed vehicle;
- Pallet delivery;
- Specialised handling;
- A delivery vehicle suitable for the product; or
- A customised logistics arrangement.
Shipping charges for such orders will be calculated separately.
7. SPECIAL DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS
Additional charges may apply where an order requires:
- Special handling;
- Dedicated transport;
- Multiple delivery attempts;
- Remote-area delivery;
- Restricted-access delivery;
- Special lifting or offloading;
- Pallet handling; or
- Other non-standard logistics services.
Any material additional charge should be communicated to the customer before the additional service is undertaken where reasonably practicable.
8. SHIPPING METHODS
Depending on the product and destination, WAG may offer:

Express Courier
Available in selected areas and subject to product availability and order cut-off times.
Dedicated Delivery
Used for large, heavy, high-value or specialised orders.

Used for bulk or commercial shipments.
Customer Collection
Where available, customers may collect orders from the applicable WAG collection location.
Shipping availability will be displayed or communicated according to the specific order.
9. SHIPPING TIMEFRAMES
Shipping timeframes generally begin once the order has been:
- Confirmed;
- Paid for, where payment is required;
- Processed;
- Picked and packed; and
- Dispatched.
The estimated shipping transit times are:
| Region | Estimated Transit |
|---|---|
| Johannesburg / Local | 1–3 business days |
| Gauteng | 2–5 business days |
| Major Metros | 2–5 business days |
| Regional South Africa | 3–7 business days |
| Remote / Outlying Areas | 5–10 business days |
These are estimated transit times and not guaranteed delivery dates, unless WAG expressly confirms otherwise.
For full order-processing and delivery information, customers should refer to the WAG Delivery Policy.
10. SHIPPING CUT-OFF TIMES
Orders placed before the relevant operating company’s daily cut-off time may be processed on the same business day, subject to stock availability and payment verification.
Orders placed after the cut-off time will generally be processed on the next business day.
The applicable cut-off time may differ between WAG businesses and will be communicated on the relevant website or ordering platform where applicable.
11. SHIPPING TRACKING
Where tracking is available, customers may receive:
- Tracking number;
- Courier information;
- Dispatch confirmation;
- SMS notification;
- Email notification; or
- Other delivery-status information.
Tracking availability depends on the selected shipping method and logistics provider.
12. SHIPPING TO P.O. BOXES
Standard courier deliveries generally require a physical delivery address.
P.O. Box deliveries may not be available for all products or shipping services.
Where a P.O. Box cannot be serviced, WAG may request an alternative physical delivery address.
13. ADDRESS ACCURACY
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery address and contact information supplied during checkout are accurate.
Incorrect or incomplete information may result in:
- Delivery delays;
- Additional shipping charges;
- Failed delivery attempts;
- Return-to-sender charges; or
- Cancellation of the shipment.
Where additional costs arise because incorrect information was provided by the customer, those costs may be payable by the customer where legally permitted.
14. MULTIPLE-PRODUCT ORDERS
Where an order contains products with different shipping requirements, WAG may:
- Ship the products together;
- Ship the products separately;
- Use different delivery providers; or
- Arrange a specialised delivery.
Where products are shipped separately, the customer may receive multiple tracking notifications.
15. THIRD-PARTY COURIERS AND LOGISTICS PROVIDERS
WAG may use third-party courier, freight and logistics providers.
These providers may have their own operational procedures relating to:
- Delivery attempts;
- Tracking;
- Proof of delivery;
- Delivery windows;
- Remote-area surcharges; and
- Collection points.
WAG remains responsible for managing the customer’s order in accordance with the applicable agreement and law.
16. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
International shipping is not currently part of WAG’s standard shipping service.
Where international shipping becomes available, it may be introduced on a country-by-country basis.
International orders may be subject to:
- International freight charges;
- Customs duties;
- Import taxes;
- Customs clearance charges;
- Regulatory requirements;
- Restricted-product rules; and
- Other destination-country requirements.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, the customer may be responsible for applicable customs duties, import taxes and destination charges.
17. SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS
Certain products may have shipping restrictions due to:
- Size;
- Weight;
- Fragility;
- Dangerous-goods regulations;
- Manufacturer requirements;
- Legal restrictions;
- Courier restrictions; or
- Other logistical considerations.
Where a product cannot be shipped to a particular destination, WAG will notify the customer where reasonably practicable.
18. FAILED DELIVERY
Where a delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to circumstances attributable to the customer, additional delivery charges may apply where permitted.
Examples include:
- Incorrect address;
- No authorised recipient;
- Refusal to accept the order;
- Failure to provide required access;
- Failure to respond to delivery communications; or
- Other customer-related circumstances.
WAG may arrange another delivery attempt or return the goods to the relevant facility.
19. LOST OR DAMAGED SHIPMENTS
If an order appears to have been lost or materially damaged during transit, customers should notify WAG as soon as reasonably possible.
WAG will investigate the matter with the applicable courier or logistics provider.
Where appropriate, WAG may arrange:
- Replacement;
- Refund;
- Re-delivery; or
- Another applicable remedy.
Customers should retain packaging and provide photographs or other relevant information where available.
Nothing in this section limits statutory consumer rights.
20. SHIPPING AND REFUNDS
Where an order qualifies for a refund, the treatment of shipping charges will depend on:
- The reason for the refund;
- Whether the product was defective or incorrectly supplied;
- Whether the customer cancelled voluntarily;
- Applicable statutory rights; and
- The relevant WAG business’s applicable refund terms.
Please refer to the WAG Refund Policy for further information.

These may include:

- Other logistics arrangements.
Such arrangements may be governed by a separate supply or commercial agreement.

Shipping and delivery may take longer during:
- South African public holidays;
- Year-end periods;
- Promotional campaigns;
- Black Friday;
- Major sales events;
